Mass needed for 604 MLTL build
After a few years of poverty, and being reasonably happy with my GPA-III's in their open baffles, I have finally gotten around to and am almost finished with getting my 604 MLTLs built in 10 cu ft boxes.
As it turns out, Owens 703 is not really available here in New Zealand, but there is this Quietspace panel which has very similar specs - http://autexindustries.com/retrieve-file/jaDpvVc.pdf. However, they are ~$300 NZ EACH for the two-inch panels!!! And I would need two panels to do three sides each box . :-( One inch panels are a <cough> bargain at $200 NZ each </cough>.
Are there any good, reasonable priced alternatives that I could use for this - like polyfill or something? How much mass and how dense would it need to be?
All help gratefully appreciated.
